The Waiting

“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”  Psalm 27:14                                                                                                             As i am going through a time of difficult lessons learned the hard way i keep asking, “What do i do, Lord?” . This morning i open my Bible right to the Book of Psalms and this is the passage my eyes are automatically drawn to. Guess that is my answer. Given in God’s sweet way in His perfect timing. So now i wait…i am weak but He is strong and His grace is sufficient for me. Somehow He will get me through this and i will be better because of it but first i must learn to wait. Wait on the Lord…

Isn’t it wonderful how God answers us through scripture? Even if I don’t like the answer, I am always reassured when I get one! I’ve found that it is during “the waiting” that God is at work the most.

Wendy, one thing i have noticed during this time is the creativity starting to come alive in me. God is good. And the more i read His Word the more i am assured of His faithfulness. God is at work on me and He wants to work through me as well. I do want to be a vessel…it’s just taking time. But He is patiently waiting on me as i learn to wait on Him. Thanks, Wendy. Love ya girl!! charis

Charis, I thank God, each time I read your blog, because He speaks to me through you. My heart has been hurting this week as well, and I have learned that waiting, instead of springing to the first thing that I think is right, is strenthening my heart! Keep writing girl, I love to hear your heart! Remember I am here for you. Kathy

Kathy, I know that you are there for me and i want you to know i am here for you as well. I am sorry to hear that you have been hurting this week but at the same time i am encouraged for both of us because i know God is with us and will get us through whatever comes our way. Knowing that we are learning together is also comforting. We know God is for us, now we also know we have each other. God is so good. Love, charis
